It is creation’s renewal and transformation.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">When this happens fully, evil will be removed, death will be defeated, justice will be complete, and God’s presence will fill everything. The world will become what God always intended it to be.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">This hope matters now. If God plans to renew creation, then what we do on earth matters. Our bodies matter. Our relationships matter. Our communities matter. Justice matters. Creation care matters. Acts of mercy matter.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">We cannot bring the fullness of the Kingdom by our own strength. Only God can make all things new. But we can join His renewing work as His people.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Disciples live with the future in view.
