Everywhere He went, He brought the good news of God’s kingdom.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 15pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">He shared good news with the poor, the sick, the rejected, the guilty, the curious, and the forgotten. He did not only speak to people who looked religious or important. He moved toward people others often avoided.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 15pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Jesus showed that God’s love is not far away. In Him, the kingdom of God came near. The blind received sight. Sinners received forgiveness. The lonely were welcomed. The broken found mercy. The lost were invited home.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 15pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Jesus did not treat people like projects. He saw them as people deeply loved by the Father. He asked questions, listened, ate meals, told stories, healed bodies, forgave sins, and invited people to follow Him.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 15pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">This teaches us that evangelism is not only about words. Words matter, but they must come from love. How did He welcome people? How did He speak? How did He notice those others ignored?
