That means they are not for personal attention, status, or spiritual excitement. Every disciple of Jesus can be used by the Holy Spirit. The gifts are not limited to a few leaders, experts, or mature Christians.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">This is encouraging because it means God can work through ordinary people in ordinary moments. He may give wisdom during a conversation, compassion while praying for someone, a Scripture that encourages a friend, discernment when something feels unclear, or faith to step forward when others feel afraid.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">The gifts exist to strengthen faith, reveal Jesus, and demonstrate God’s love in practical ways. They help the Church become more than a group of people with good ideas. They help us become a Spirit-empowered body that carries God’s love into the world.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">No matter your age, background, personality, or APEST type, the Holy Spirit can use you. The question is not, “Am I spiritual enough?” The better question is, “Am I available?”<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Today, remember that the gifts are for service.
