This means every person has deep worth. Every person matters because every person reflects something of God.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 15pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Our value does not come from being popular, talented, rich, strong, or successful. It comes from God. Male and female are both made in God’s image. No one is less human, less valuable, or less loved.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 15pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">But being made in God’s image is not only about dignity. It is also about calling. We are made to represent God in the world. That means we are meant to show His wisdom, justice, love, kindness, and care.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 15pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">When we treat people with honor, we are living as image-bearers. When we protect the weak, tell the truth, forgive, create, serve, and work for peace, we reflect the character of God.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 15pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">This also means we must be careful how we speak about others. A person is never just annoying, useless, difficult, or invisible.
