His holiness is not harsh, cold, or distant. It is full of compassion, truth, faithfulness, and sacrificial love.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Jesus shows us that holiness draws people toward God. He welcomed sinners, healed the sick, touched the unclean, forgave the guilty, and restored the ashamed. At the same time, He spoke truth, confronted hypocrisy, resisted evil, and obeyed the Father completely.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">In Jesus, holiness and love are never separated. His compassion is holy. His truth is loving. His mercy is pure. His obedience is joyful.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">This matters because we can easily misunderstand holiness. We may think holiness means avoiding people who are broken. But Jesus’ holiness moved toward people in love while never joining their sin.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">To hallow God’s name is to become more like Jesus.
