No mourning. No crying. Pain is real. Sickness, injustice, hatred, unforgiveness, and loss are real. The curse will be removed. Creation will be whole. Relationships will be healed. Love will be unbroken. Peace - true shalom - will fill God’s renewed world.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">This hope does not erase present suffering, but it gives courage inside it. We can grieve honestly and still hope deeply. We can face pain without believing pain has the final word.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Jesus’ resurrection is the promise that death has already been defeated.
