The promise to Abraham, the formation of Israel, the law, worship, prophets, kings, exile, and return are all moving somewhere. They are moving toward Jesus.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Jesus is the Son of David. He is the King God promised. But His Kingdom does not come through pride, violence, or selfish power. It comes through humility, truth, sacrifice, resurrection, and love.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Today, look to Jesus as the true King.
