If we are naturally prophetic, He may grow us in gentleness or encouragement. If we are naturally evangelistic, He may deepen us in discipleship and wisdom. If we are naturally shepherding, He may stretch us toward mission and courage. If we are naturally teaching, He may grow us in warmth, action, or listening.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 15pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">We do not grow in weaker areas by pretending they are easy. We grow by taking small, intentional steps. We spend time with people who are strong where we are weak. We learn from their example. We ask the Spirit for opportunities outside our comfort zone.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 15pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">We also celebrate others’ gifts instead of comparing or competing. Someone else’s strength may be exactly what we need to grow.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 15pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Jesus is patient with us. He is not trying to shame our weakness.
