It is about union with Christ. We are joined to Jesus by faith, welcomed into relationship with the Father, and made alive by the Spirit.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Jesus does not merely point toward God and say, “Try harder.” He says, “Come to Me.” He opens the way. He carries us into the Father’s love.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">This gives us both humility and confidence. Humility, because we cannot save ourselves. He is not only your example.
