These are gifts that help us listen well.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Prayer teaches us dependence. Scripture anchors us in God’s truth. The Spirit leads, corrects, comforts, and prompts us. Wise community helps us notice blind spots and test what we think we are hearing.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Discerning God’s will is not always quick. Sometimes we must wait, listen, ask questions, and take small steps of faith. Sometimes God gives clear direction. Other times He forms wisdom in us so we can choose faithfully.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">This is why trust matters. We are not called to blind obedience, but to relational trust.
