If we deny spiritual opposition, we may become careless, prayerless, or unaware of temptation and deception.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Another distortion happens when we blame everything on the enemy and avoid personal responsibility. Sometimes the issue is not only spiritual attack. Sometimes we need repentance, wisdom, accountability, healing, or changed habits.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Jesus never obsessed over the enemy. He remained focused on the Father and His mission. We can resist the enemy without becoming anxious. We can take responsibility without falling into shame. The Lord is faithful.
