People will misunderstand, disappoint, wound, and fail one another. Without forgiveness, community fractures. With forgiveness, community heals and grows.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">A healthy Klēsia is a place where confession can be safe with trusted leaders, grace is practised, restoration is pursued, and people are not left trapped in shame.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">This does not mean pretending sin does not matter. True forgiveness is honest. It names wrong, seeks healing, and invites restoration where possible. But it refuses to let sin have the final word.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Jesus tells a story in Matthew 18 about a servant forgiven a huge debt who then refuses to forgive a much smaller debt. The point is clear: people who have received great mercy are called to become merciful.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Disciples live forgiven and become people who forgive.<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">This week, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any place where unforgiveness remains. Bring it honestly to God. Ask for grace to release it.
